Loop(?)/cavity with prominence(?) core at ~230 degrees position angle. Event was in progress when coronameter was turned on. Promienence(?) is gone by ~19:20. Trajectory information: Three features were measured. The top of the loop(?) the top of the cavity (i.e. the back of the loop) and the top of the prominence(?) core. In all cases both a first order (constant velocity) fit and a second order (constant acceleration) fit were generated to the data points. In all cases we preferred the second order fit to the data. When the second order fit is preferred, the reported speed is the speed at the time of the last data measurement. Top of Loop(?) - 154 km/sec at 18:44:49 (at 2.60 solar radii) Top of Cavity - 192 km/sec at 18:44:52 (at 2.42 solar radii) Top of Prominence(?) - 167 km/sec at 19:43:01 (at 2.56 solar radii) 2. Northeast Limb. Bright mound in northeast. Outer edge becomes fuzzy after 18:29:56. Mound was visible when instrument came on at 17:33. Trajectory information: We measured the top of the mound in the mk3, channel zero field of view. We preferred the second order fit to the data. The speed at the time of the last data measurement was: Top of Mound - 108 km/sec at 18:29:56 at 1.57 solar radii ADDITIONAL INFORMATION ON THESE EVENTS IS AVAILABLE UPON REQUEST. (jb 12/20/93) With the new calibration, the two CME's can be seen vwry clearly at the beginning of the day. The CME in the southwest appears to throw off a rather large mass.
