Had to reset the OCP clock, CHIP COMMENT: Tue Feb 25 17:46:05 GMT 1997 Cooling unit was off due to power outages since yesterday. I started it up. Currently, the filter temp=27.953 and the plate temp=14.808 Images will be poor for a while until the temperatures stabilize in the correct ranges. I'm not sure why this would happen, one possibility is that a power outage caused the program to restart and write to drive #1 without the tape in drive #0 popping out, then another power outage caused the program to restart and write to drive #0 again, and the tape in drive #1 popped out. We may have lost some data on the tape in drive #0 if it got written over. Looks like the last restart was yesterday afternoon around 1 or 2pm, the # of files is at 7 write now and 1 file=1 hour. According to the NWS there is a very strange and intense storm to the East of us that is blowing toward us and should hit us sometime today. Hurricane force winds already blew some roofs off in Hilo yesterday. So far it is relatively calm up here but the worst is yet to come. MKIII COMMENT: Tue Feb 25 20:24:49 GMT 1997 Data getting noisy, must be due to moisture or bad seeing related to the approaching storm. WEATHER COMMENT: Tue Feb 25 20:29:38 GMT 1997 Thick clouds and fog are now very close, I think this is a good time to shut down, secure things and leave before the weather gets too bad.
