Since the camera controllers must be on before Kii and Nene are booted in order for those gain values to get through to the controllers, I made sure the controllers were on and then I rebooted both Kii and Nene. I'm not sure about the CHIP images but the dPMon images are much better now. WEATHER COMMENT: Sat May 24 20:21:18 GMT 1997 Wind now 40+ mph from the WSW. COMMENT: Sat May 24 20:46:56 GMT 1997 Spar is having a hard time tracking, probably due to slight imbalance and the heavy wind. It helped to move it around in Dec and RA to loosen up cable tension, etcetera. COMMENT: Sat May 24 20:55:56 GMT 1997 Spar lost tracking in Dec again, I removed a small weight from the lower north side of the Spar to see if this will help with the balance. I installed the small weight that I removed over the larger weight that is clamped to the Spar handle (at the bottom). After the PICS instrument changes in July we can invest some time in getting the Spar truly balanced.
