It was very difficult to remove disk #31 from the occulting post. I think the O-ring may have somehow expanded causing the issue. I dont think there was any damage to the occulter while I pushed it off as I avoided the sensitived areas. #35 went on much smoother. I also noticed a lot of oxidation on the occulting post, there had been some in the past, but this is more then I remember. I assume the oxidation is from the high head and dismilar metals between the titanium and alunimum. ___end___ GENERAL OBSERVATORY COMMENT BY berkey: Mon Nov 3 19:54:44 GMT 2014 Overcast closed in again :( ___end___ GENERAL OBSERVATORY COMMENT BY berkey: Mon Nov 3 22:21:24 GMT 2014 Thick fog rolling up the mountian now. ___end___ GENERAL OBSERVATORY COMMENT BY berkey: Tue Nov 4 02:10:46 GMT 2014 Gave a tour to some UH astronomers that were on the mountain. ___end___
