As far as I could tell the ground pin J64-13 was never connected inside the optics box. And was spliced into the JP64-8 inside the connector. To solve this I moved the CCD_Trig wire over to the JP64-8 slot. When I initially tore into the JP65 connector It seemed like JP64-8 was cut and taped over. (This is a ground to the Optical limit switches on the RA drive. Which is X out in a diagram we have on the mountain). With the GND to the optical switch disconnected we have can run the camera and the mount goes to the right place. It MAY be working again :) ___end___ Fri May 15 20:32:24 GMT 2015 COMP End Patrol Fri May 15 20:32:25 GMT 2015 COMP Start Patrol Fri May 15 20:39:09 GMT 2015 KCOR End Patrol Fri May 15 20:39:14 GMT 2015 COMP End Patrol Fri May 15 21:09:07 GMT 2015 COMP Start Patrol Fri May 15 21:19:03 GMT 2015 KCOR Start Synoptic Patrol GENERAL COMMENT BY berkey: Fri May 15 21:43:24 GMT 2015 Move bottom shutter down around 20:40UT. ___end___ Fri May 15 22:33:20 GMT 2015 KCOR End Patrol Fri May 15 22:33:34 GMT 2015 CoMP Paused for clouds GENERAL COMMENT BY berkey: Fri May 15 22:33:54 GMT 2015 Cirrus patches are leading to high sky brightness. We saw an enhancement in the coronal brightness in the area this morning that looked like the signature of a future Mk4 cme eruption. Sky brightness due to cirrus gave us very limited and poor quality data during this time; but in recent images ~1:00UT we can see what looks like the bow shock of the cme extending outward to about 1 solar radii. ___end___ PSPT COMMENT BY berkey: Sat May 16 01:24:42 GMT 2015 Pspt images look to have non-uniform brightness from west to east. It almost looks like part of the beam is occulted, but if that is the case the occulting is occuring inside the telescope. Perhaps a filter 1/2 in the beam... or something. ___end___ Sat May 16 02:28:34 GMT 2015 KCOR End Patrol Sat May 16 02:28:55 GMT 2015 COMP End Patrol GENERAL COMMENT BY berkey: Sat May 16 02:28:55 GMT 2015 With clouds moving back in this seems like a good time to shut down. ___end___
