The second running of the cals was an accident so we killed the calibration sub-routine with the [x] button in the upper right and corner of the calibration vi; this returned control back to the main observing vi for potentially more science data. Potentially not ,clouds are close. ___end___ Wed Aug 05 19:04:47 GMT 2015 CoMP Paused for clouds GENERAL OBSERVATORY COMMENT BY waters: Wed Aug 5 19:09:38 GMT 2015 Domes closed for approaching fog. ___end___ Wed Aug 05 19:27:30 GMT 2015 CoMP Restarted from pause Wed Aug 05 19:27:30 GMT 2015 COMP End Patrol KCOR COMMENT BY waters: Wed Aug 5 21:07:58 GMT 2015 Taking some junk dome data with the science tag on for a test. ___end___ Wed Aug 05 21:17:21 GMT 2015 KCOR End Patrol Wed Aug 05 21:26:59 GMT 2015 KCOR Ending Patrol due to guiding error Wed Aug 05 21:33:11 GMT 2015 KCOR Start Synoptic Patrol Wed Aug 05 21:36:41 GMT 2015 KCOR Ending Patrol due to guiding error Wed Aug 05 21:37:45 GMT 2015 KCOR Start Synoptic Patrol Wed Aug 05 21:38:29 GMT 2015 KCOR Ending Patrol due to guiding error Wed Aug 05 21:42:23 GMT 2015 KCOR Start Synoptic Patrol Wed Aug 05 21:43:23 GMT 2015 KCOR Ending Patrol due to guiding error Wed Aug 05 21:45:26 GMT 2015 KCOR Start Synoptic Patrol Wed Aug 05 21:46:49 GMT 2015 KCOR Ending Patrol due to guiding error Wed Aug 05 21:47:41 GMT 2015 KCOR Start Synoptic Patrol Wed Aug 05 21:48:32 GMT 2015 KCOR Ending Patrol due to guiding error Wed Aug 05 21:52:55 GMT 2015 KCOR Start Synoptic Patrol Wed Aug 05 21:53:41 GMT 2015 KCOR Ending Patrol due to guiding error Wed Aug 05 21:58:05 GMT 2015 KCOR Start Synoptic Patrol Wed Aug 05 21:58:31 GMT 2015 KCOR Ending Patrol due to guiding error Wed Aug 05 21:59:28 GMT 2015 KCOR Ending Patrol due to guiding error Wed Aug 05 22:00:26 GMT 2015 KCOR Start Synoptic Patrol Wed Aug 05 22:01:18 GMT 2015 KCOR Ending Patrol due to guiding error Wed Aug 05 22:02:02 GMT 2015 KCOR Ending Patrol due to guiding error Wed Aug 05 22:02:56 GMT 2015 KCOR Start Synoptic Patrol Wed Aug 05 22:03:35 GMT 2015 KCOR Ending Patrol due to guiding error Wed Aug 05 22:07:23 GMT 2015 KCOR Ending Patrol due to guiding error Wed Aug 05 22:09:09 GMT 2015 KCOR Start Synoptic Patrol Wed Aug 05 22:09:52 GMT 2015 KCOR Ending Patrol due to guiding error Wed Aug 05 22:10:36 GMT 2015 KCOR Ending Patrol due to guiding error Wed Aug 05 22:15:48 GMT 2015 KCOR Start Synoptic Patrol Wed Aug 05 22:18:11 GMT 2015 KCOR Start Synoptic Patrol Wed Aug 05 22:26:51 GMT 2015 KCOR Start Synoptic Patrol Wed Aug 05 22:27:38 GMT 2015 KCOR Ending Patrol due to guiding error Wed Aug 05 22:28:15 GMT 2015 KCOR Ending Patrol due to guiding error Wed Aug 05 22:32:55 GMT 2015 KCOR Start Synoptic Patrol Wed Aug 05 22:33:40 GMT 2015 KCOR Ending Patrol due to guiding error Wed Aug 05 22:38:29 GMT 2015 KCOR Start Synoptic Patrol Wed Aug 05 22:38:47 GMT 2015 KCOR Ending Patrol due to guiding error Wed Aug 05 22:39:44 GMT 2015 KCOR Ending Patrol due to guiding error Wed Aug 05 22:43:45 GMT 2015 KCOR Start Synoptic Patrol Wed Aug 05 22:43:56 GMT 2015 KCOR Ending Patrol due to guiding error Wed Aug 05 22:51:48 GMT 2015 KCOR Ending Patrol due to guiding error Wed Aug 05 22:52:28 GMT 2015 KCOR Start Synoptic Patrol Wed Aug 05 22:53:19 GMT 2015 KCOR Ending Patrol due to guiding error KCOR COMMENT BY berkey: Wed Aug 05 23:57:30 GMT 2015 I changed the logic that kcor uses to close the ND filter if the guiding gets to far out of range. In the old system via synchronous calls the labview observing code would stop doing anything until the ND filter was in and then the observer acknowledged the popup window. socketcam not knowing labview was waiting on the pop up window would just keep taking images and shoving them at labview while they piled up. I believe (but have not tested to or looked closely) the triggers/modulation tread kept working so I don't think we have to worry about modulation errors for any of the data we took in the past. The new code makes an asynchronous call to close the ND filter then makes an asynchronous call to a new sub vi that pops up the error message, and also writes a message in the day log. During this work I made a small change to the Get Dim, and Parse Socketcam filename code to push a Boolean back to main window which will turn on or off the science flag. ___end___ KCOR COMMENT BY berkey: Thu Aug 06 00:04:49 GMT 2015 Actually I wasn't properly setting the Science Data button to false. I should have been using the invoke property node "value signal" which generates an event but I simply assigned the button to false. This has been corrected. ___end___ CoMP COMMENT BY berkey: Thu Aug 06 00:08:52 GMT 2015 Going to let Lisa play with the CoMP "menu" upgrade code to see if she can break it. CoMP data taken after this are of the inside of the dome, and will have the PROGRAM and MEASUREID keywords in the fits headers. ___end___ Thu Aug 06 00:12:23 GMT 2015 COMP Start Patrol on cookbook: waves-00001.cbk Thu Aug 06 00:12:45 GMT 2015 COMP End Patrol Thu Aug 06 00:12:45 GMT 2015 COMP Start Patrol on cookbook: synoptic-00001.cbk Thu Aug 06 00:13:09 GMT 2015 COMP End Patrol Thu Aug 06 00:17:28 GMT 2015 COMP Start Patrol on cookbook: cal_clear.cbk Thu Aug 06 00:23:25 GMT 2015 COMP End Patrol Thu Aug 06 00:23:25 GMT 2015 COMP Start Patrol on cookbook: cal_pol.cbk Thu Aug 06 00:25:34 GMT 2015 COMP End Patrol Thu Aug 06 00:25:35 GMT 2015 COMP Start Patrol on cookbook: cal_pol_ret.cbk Thu Aug 06 00:34:28 GMT 2015 COMP End Patrol GENERAL OBSERVATORY COMMENT BY waters: Thu Aug 6 00:35:54 GMT 2015 Reached me upper limit for my knee.
