Front of kcor lens looks to have some thing on it, maybe this got on the lens during cleaning the back side on friday. ___end___ GENERAL COMMENT BY berkey: Wed Apr 15 17:27:49 GMT 2020 Kcor started up in the wrong mode. Looking around I found a bug in some of the code related to deciding if we should be using the pcie and pxie channels. But was fixed, not sure if this was the source of the startup issue. ___end___ Wed Apr 15 18:24:48 GMT 2020 Kcor Focus/alignment program exited Wed Apr 15 18:24:55 GMT 2020 Kcor Focus/alignment program exited GPS COMMENT by MLSO: Wed Apr 15 21:45:06 GMT 2020 Successfully logged in to system Good disk mount GPS software running Last 5 GPS data files are: /mnt/usb/dataoutiq_2020_101_2146.bin 2147483647 /mnt/usb/dataoutiq_2020_102_2146.bin 2147483647 /mnt/usb/dataoutiq_2020_103_2146.bin 2147483647 /mnt/usb/dataoutiq_2020_104_2146.bin 2147483647 /mnt/usb/dataoutiq_2020_105_2146.bin 2147483647 ___end___ KCOR COMMENT BY berkey: Wed Apr 15 21:54:50 GMT 2020 Pulling the Kcor o1 for cleaning. ___end___ KCOR COMMENT BY berkey: Thu Apr 16 02:05:19 GMT 2020 Used first contact on the front and back of the kcor o1. Near as I can tell it is clean, but with the heavy overcast there isn't enough sunlight for a complete inspection. ___end___ KCOR COMMENT BY berkey: Thu Apr 16 02:56:51 GMT 2020 Testing between clouds today, seems to suggest the bug in the channel names was the source of the bad kcor startup state. We should probably keep stating the observing code with the polarizer in the beam for a bit longer to make sure we really did sort the problem. But so far it looks good. ___end___ GENERAL COMMENT BY berkey: Thu Apr 16 02:57:32 GMT 2020 Spend the morning in between thin cirrus clouds and the afternoon under heavy overcast. ___end___ ONSITE STAFF: berkey
