Daystar filter back from repair. Will run a bit without it
until all systems are running, then will shut down DPMON to
reinstall it.

Low-L running this morning. Rewound video tape and removed camera
for the observation period. Will set it back up at the end of
the observing day.

DPMON COMMENT: Thu May 5 19:24:58 GMT 1994
Checked Daystar and it was warm. I guess the heater is working OK.
Exposure still heavy after a while of running, lowered it from
100 to 50 (where orange pixels go away). Will run at that exposure
for disc images only.

COMMENT: Thu May 5 19:27:37 GMT 1994

MKIII COMMENT: Thu May 5 21:06:35 GMT 1994
Tried to see if contrast was being affected by the blue filter
on the disc images. Exposure needed to be reduced to 20-25.
No tape taken. Contrast did not change. There is not much on the
disc to compare with in the first place--either that, or the filter
is not at Halpha as it should be when set at 5.00. We'll have to go
through the temperature tests again, maybe, when there are more
features on thhe disc. Blue filter put back in the same orientation,
and exposure used is 50 as is set in the ProgramDefs file.

COMMENT: Thu May 5 21:21:28 GMT 1994
