DPMON COMMENT: Sat Jun 4 17:34:09 GMT 1994
Limb exposure is at 350 ms, I just changed the disk exposure to 70 ms. The
new H-alpha filter is installed over the 0.7" Lyot stop, O2B focus mike is
set to 4.300 mm.

MKIII COMMENT: Sat Jun 4 18:24:06 GMT 1994
Just did a channel 1 cal, will do a channel 0 cal next.

DPMON COMMENT: Sat Jun 4 18:24:42 GMT 1994
Program crashed while I was checking the closeup solar features by pointing to
area of interest in the full disk image and clicking a mouse button to update
the closeup view window, this is usual procedure, first time I`ve seen it
crash like this, will restart and install a new tape.

DPMON COMMENT: Sat Jun 4 18:48:38 GMT 1994
Had to reboot computer after the crash, starting new tape P00072.

LOW-L COMMENT: Sat Jun 4 18:49:32 GMT 1994
Still running, tape L00053 an drive #0.

DPMON COMMENT: Sat Jun 4 18:50:18 GMT 1994
Will start off with a few images taken with the setup used earlier, then I
will pause the Patrol program and do some manual testing, I will save various
test images for review in Boulder and I will save data to tape for the best
setup of different filter/stop combinations.

Sat Jun 4 18:56:02 GMT 1994: Patrol End

DPMON COMMENT: Sat Jun 4 18:56:10 GMT 1994
Both the Daystar filter and the diffuser are moving in and out of the light
path. Will pause the Patrol and reset the Plessey and reset the filter and
diffuser.

Sat Jun 4 19:00:22 GMT 1994: Filemark-Calibration

DPMON COMMENT: Sat Jun 4 19:05:17 GMT 1994
Restarted the Patrol for some base images.

DPMON COMMENT: Sat Jun 4 19:11:47 GMT 1994
Pausing the Patrol for some manual testing.

Sat Jun 4 19:13:02 GMT 1994: Patrol End
Sat Jun 4 19:43:17 GMT 1994: Patrol Start

DPMON COMMENT: Sat Jun 4 19:43:23 GMT 1994
Taking some data with the "close-to-best" focus setting for O2B of 2.500 mm.
Using new H-alpha filter mounted flat on 0.8" Lyot stop, disk exposure is
70 ms, limb exposure is 350 ms. Not sure if the limb is at best focus but
disk is close.

DPMON COMMENT: Sat Jun 4 19:51:59 GMT 1994
Diffuser and Daystar filter moving in and out again, will reset as before.

COMMENT: Sat Jun 4 19:52:51 GMT 1994
Some cirrus clouds are getting close.

Sat Jun 4 19:54:13 GMT 1994: Patrol End

DPMON COMMENT: Sat Jun 4 19:56:17 GMT 1994
Lost the Display and Focus windows again, this time while running Manual.
The core gets dumped to memory and /opt gets full. As before, I will delete
core, reboot and start on a new tape.

DPMON COMMENT: Sat Jun 4 20:25:41 GMT 1994
Crashed in Manual mode this time with the Camera field showing "busy", this
crash has happenned in the past, had to reboot the computer but kept the
same tape since it had no data on it. Doing more manual testing now.

COMMENT: Sat Jun 4 20:39:18 GMT 1994
Cirrus clouds passing by.

DPMON COMMENT: Sat Jun 4 20:55:56 GMT 1994
Crashed again while in manual mode, Camera "busy. Rebooting.

DPMON COMMENT: Sat Jun 4 21:04:43 GMT 1994
Testing is getting really slowed down by crashes and cirrus.

DPMON COMMENT: Sat Jun 4 21:48:57 GMT 1994
Crashed again in manual mode, rebooting.

DPMON COMMENT: Sat Jun 4 22:02:42 GMT 1994
Crashed again while trying to run Continuous after having run Continuous
(Manual mode) and saving an image in the data directory. This seems to be
the recurring pattern.
Rebooting.

DPMON COMMENT: Sat Jun 4 23:05:10 GMT 1994
Crashed again in Manual mode the same way as listed last time. Rebooted.

Sat Jun 4 23:12:16 GMT 1994: Patrol Start

DPMON COMMENT: Sat Jun 4 23:12:18 GMT 1994
Starting up Patrol on 3rd tape for today (P00073). The heat rejection filter
is on the 0.8" Lyot stop (old), the O2B mike is at 4.300 mm, the disk exposure
started at 70 ms but I just changed it to 130 ms, the limb exposure started
at 350 ms but I just changed it to 300 ms. Limb is washed out due to passing
cirrus, but disk features can still be seen. This seems to be the best
setup for disk images with a filter for IR rejection. Still need to work on
the limb images though.

DPMON COMMENT: Sat Jun 4 23:54:53 GMT 1994
Cirrus is temporarily gone, changed the limb exposure to 350 ms.
