MKIII COMMENT: Sun Aug 14 17:10:29 GMT 1994
MKIII died after first few scans of the day. Tried
"Programmer does forget task" and "octal" commands
on Tek 4006 and La-120. Finally had to reboot 11/44.
Don't think there were any good scans on the exabyte
before this time, so I just recycled the tape. Running
smoothly now.

MKIII COMMENT: Sun Aug 14 18:13:58 GMT 1994
MKIII died again. Consulted EAY. Forced to reboot
11/44 again. This time will save current tape, H00821,
since it has approx. 1/2 hour worth of data at beginning
of the day. Tape does not have double EOF. We think
that the problem is the La-120 is locking up during
coronal "1take". Hopefully rebooting 11/44 and waiting
a while before restarting will solve the problem. MKIII
seems to be running normally now.
