COMMENT: Wed Aug 17 19:29:25 GMT 1994
Reconfigured dome shutter.

MKIII COMMENT: Wed Aug 17 19:29:44 GMT 1994
Forgot to do so earlier because I got busy with other stuff, but
I looked into the MKIII barrel from the front and saw that the
tilt plates cast a shadow on the first baffle just behind them,
but that shadow doesn't appear on the following baffle.

WEATHER COMMENT: Wed Aug 17 19:32:55 GMT 1994
Cirrus is thinning, may get a hole.

WEATHER COMMENT: Wed Aug 17 19:39:48 GMT 1994

DPMON COMMENT: Wed Aug 17 20:16:06 GMT 1994
Mask placed over west - half of backside of Daystar filter.

DPMON COMMENT: Wed Aug 17 20:21:35 GMT 1994
Revised disc exposure from 120ms to 240ms.

WEATHER COMMENT: Wed Aug 17 20:22:38 GMT 1994
Rats! Back in thin cirrus. I'll finish the vignetting test
if the cirrus doesn't get too thick, and repeat it again
tomorrow if sky is better.

DPMON COMMENT: Wed Aug 17 20:30:10 GMT 1994
Mask moved to cover top half of Daystar back aperture.
Exposure 240ms.

DPMON COMMENT: Wed Aug 17 20:33:35 GMT 1994
Mask was not exactly vertical on last series, misjudged the position
when rotated into beam. This top mask series is close to horizontal
when rotated into beam.

DPMON COMMENT: Wed Aug 17 20:37:17 GMT 1994
Revised exposure back to 120ms.

DPMON COMMENT: Wed Aug 17 20:44:34 GMT 1994
Masked west side again, with mask edge more vertical this time.
Exposure 120ms

DPMON COMMENT: Wed Aug 17 20:48:35 GMT 1994
Revised disc exposure to 240 ms.

MKIII COMMENT: Wed Aug 17 20:55:14 GMT 1994
Tilt-plate shadow looks the same as earlier.

DPMON COMMENT: Wed Aug 17 20:55:38 GMT 1994
Removed mask. Exposure 240ms.

DPMON COMMENT: Wed Aug 17 20:56:50 GMT 1994
Revised exposure back to 120ms.

WEATHER COMMENT: Wed Aug 17 20:57:17 GMT 1994
Still in cirrus, its a little thicker now.

Wed Aug 17 21:02:20 GMT 1994: Calibration

WEATHER COMMENT: Wed Aug 17 21:32:42 GMT 1994
Cirrus thinned out, but sky is very noisy. Some very thin cirrus
may still inhabit this hole.

Wed Aug 17 22:02:16 GMT 1994: Calibration

MKIII COMMENT: Wed Aug 17 22:07:04 GMT 1994
Looked into barrel for tilt-plate vignetting and shadows still
look the same.

WEATHER COMMENT: Wed Aug 17 22:11:52 GMT 1994
In thicker cirrus again. Orographic clouds are forming all over
the station.

Wed Aug 17 22:14:15 GMT 1994: Patrol End
