MKIII COMMENT: Thu Oct 13 17:48:52 GMT 1994
Cathy has alerted us to flakiness on Chan 1.
Checked monitors on chan 1 and found it basically dead this morning.
There has been a lot of fiddling with the channel as part of
it, from the DCSB on down has been used in the chan 2 work.
Will check the system out.

MKIII COMMENT: Thu Oct 13 17:53:41 GMT 1994
Need to stop scan to check out chan 1 further.

Thu Oct 13 18:01:59 GMT 1994: Calibration

MKIII COMMENT: Thu Oct 13 18:07:03 GMT 1994
Chan 1 data pulses were missing. Checked connection at the trapeziod
box on the rear of the MKIII. Reconnected lemo connector and got
the pulses back. May have been a poor connection, or (HORRORS)
a bad connector. If channel 2 work is to continue, I will have to
continue swapping those fragile connectors.

MKIII COMMENT: Thu Oct 13 18:34:39 GMT 1994
Oops, sorry, got preoccupied while MKIII was waiting to start
chan 0 calibration..

MKIII COMMENT: Thu Oct 13 21:05:42 GMT 1994
Inspected chan 1 optics and could not see anything obvious
interfering with optical path, seals look OK.

cirrostratus thinning, starting systems up again.

DPMON COMMENT: Thu Oct 13 21:37:51 GMT 1994
PMON was domed. Moved dome, turned ADR back on.

WEATHER COMMENT: Thu Oct 13 21:42:47 GMT 1994
Sky still bright, must still be in some very thin cirrrus.

DPMON COMMENT: Thu Oct 13 21:50:12 GMT 1994
ADR hadn't reset in the sunlight before turning it on so it did
not move dome. Reset the timer relay.
