WEATHER COMMENT: Sat Nov 19 19:10:58 GMT 1994
Lots of cirrus coming over from the west.

MKIII COMMENT: Sat Nov 19 19:11:28 GMT 1994
Calibration is no good, but I saved a History file from the earlier scan.
I'll let the instrument run in case some good data gets through the holes.

DPMON COMMENT: Sat Nov 19 23:15:08 GMT 1994
Got another exabyte media error. Pausing obs for a while
to see if it will correct itslef.

DPMON COMMENT: Sat Nov 19 23:30:42 GMT 1994
Idling exabyte then restarting patrol didn't correct tape write
error. Will power down Sparc station and exabyte drive for a
few minutes then attempt a reboot. Recycling current tape since
no good data taken since last reboot.

DPMON COMMENT: Sun Nov 20 00:05:55 GMT 1994
Complete recycling of Sparc station and exabyte drive
appears to have sucessfully corrected the tape write
error.

LOW-L COMMENT: Sun Nov 20 00:07:02 GMT 1994
Low-l has just crashed. Will remove current tape L00134
from unit 0, move L00135 from unit 1 to unit 0, place
L00136 into unit 1, and attempt reboot.

LOW-L COMMENT: Sun Nov 20 00:19:19 GMT 1994
Low-l up and running again.

DPMON COMMENT: Sun Nov 20 00:37:58 GMT 1994
Tape error appearing again. Will halt obs and try to
confer with EAY.

Sun Nov 20 00:40:03 GMT 1994: Patrol End

WEATHER COMMENT: Sun Nov 20 01:25:08 GMT 1994
Now under thick orographic clouds.

WEATHER COMMENT: Sun Nov 20 01:42:11 GMT 1994
Dark low clouds consistantly blocking FOV. Will pause obs
with MKIII now.

WEATHER COMMENT: Sun Nov 20 02:00:53 GMT 1994
Now in ground fog. Closing dome.

WEATHER COMMENT: Sun Nov 20 03:37:47 GMT 1994
Finally managed to get in touch with EAY. He suggested
manually cleaning tape head with foam swab and cleaning
fluid. Will test whether or not it worked in a minute.

Haven't had any good weather since am shift. Orographic
clouds and thick deck of cirrus have prevented clear
viewing. Will recycle second Dpmon tape. PAU.
