DPMON COMMENT: Wed Dec 14 18:27:38 GMT 1994
Image wierded out. Reset Plessey to attempt fix.

MKIII COMMENT: Wed Dec 14 19:00:16 GMT 1994
Experienced guider oscillation. Reset guider to stop it. Oscillation affected
mkiii data scans.

MKIII COMMENT: Wed Dec 14 19:14:22 GMT 1994
Stopping mkiii to work on channel 0 alignmant.

MKIII COMMENT: Wed Dec 14 20:34:26 GMT 1994
Scanning with slot mask in, opal in, at the "aligned" detector position to
document the pixel heights on exabyte tape.

MKIII COMMENT: Wed Dec 14 20:40:53 GMT 1994
Took 2 scans of slot mask data then stopped to remove slot mask and check
alignment.

Wed Dec 14 22:01:03 GMT 1994: Calibration

MKIII COMMENT: Wed Dec 14 22:04:06 GMT 1994
OK, got what may be the best alignment after hours of adjusting rotation and
up/down. Now detectors look "square" in their mount, and the P+S and P-S
traces for both masked and no-mask look about as best as I can get them
at any one adjustment setting. MKIII is put back together. Will run a
CORRECT and then CALIBRATE.

MKIII COMMENT: Wed Dec 14 22:15:47 GMT 1994
CORRECT pau. Calibrating channel 0.

MKIII COMMENT: Wed Dec 14 22:38:47 GMT 1994
UGH! I forgot to document the new height with the mask in after settling on a
final alignment. I'll go back and do it.

MKIII COMMENT: Wed Dec 14 22:45:46 GMT 1994
Inserted slot mask and opal. Taking scans to exabyte to document pixel heights.

MKIII COMMENT: Wed Dec 14 22:52:11 GMT 1994
Removing slot mask and opal.

WEATHER COMMENT: Wed Dec 14 22:52:33 GMT 1994
Clouds??? UGH, in cirrus.

MKIII COMMENT: Wed Dec 14 22:57:31 GMT 1994
OK, MKIII restored to all its glory. Will attempt a fer more coronal scans,
but cirrus may have gotten me for the day.

Wed Dec 14 23:00:57 GMT 1994: Calibration

WEATHER COMMENT: Wed Dec 14 23:14:32 GMT 1994
In cirrus deck that is mixed thin and moderate and is pretty extensive now.

COMMENT: Wed Dec 14 23:15:23 GMT 1994
End observations.
