Clear sky, wind=15 mph from the SSE, temp=40 F.

COMMENT: Tue Mar 21 17:19:52 GMT 1995
Started up using Trot instead of Run, got error message:
/opt/dPMon/src/Bin/xv: Permission denied
xv -root /opt/d/Data/mk3.gif

But program seems to be running normally otherwise.

Tue Mar 21 19:00:58 GMT 1995: Calibration

MKIII COMMENT: Tue Mar 21 19:21:46 GMT 1995
Calibration took a while due to occassional light dust blowing up above us
from the road construction below, I had to wait a few times to get the best
scans.

COMMENT: Tue Mar 21 19:23:25 GMT 1995
There appears to be a cme occurring at PA=125, small underlying prominence
is visible in that region.

COMMENT: Tue Mar 21 19:40:17 GMT 1995
Definitely looks like a CME occurring as mentioned earlier, luckily the
road construction has stopped for a while. Will send out a CME alert.

Tue Mar 21 20:10:38 GMT 1995: Patrol Start

COMMENT: Tue Mar 21 20:13:22 GMT 1995
Wind now coming directly from area of construction, closing down.

Tue Mar 21 20:13:54 GMT 1995: Patrol End

MKIII COMMENT: Tue Mar 21 20:17:42 GMT 1995
From the latest difference images it appears the CME has faded quite a bit.

LOW-L COMMENT: Tue Mar 21 21:53:00 GMT 1995
David and I got the program going again. The Ephemeris program had a problem
with an equation that calculates RA, this problem existed only for one day
per year (yesterday), the program was modified by changing that equation
even though it would probably work for all other days of the year. The old
version of sun_eph.c is compiled into the old version of lowl.exe which has
been renamed to lowl.321. The new version of lowl.exe (with the sun_eph.c
change) is in use right now and appears to be working correctly. Lowl is
back in operation.

MKIII COMMENT: Tue Mar 21 22:13:52 GMT 1995
Note that SCAN-LOG listing at the end of this log doesn't list scans taken
before the cal at 1816, actual start of scans was around 1725 ut.
