Cool, clear, brisk southeast wind.

MKIII COMMENT: Wed Sep 27 16:44:05 GMT 1995
Swapped microprocessor inputs A and B and set phasing to 8 on
both channels as in the other day's I drop test. Will check
phasing with FRAMES before proceeding.

MKIII COMMENT: Wed Sep 27 16:54:02 GMT 1995
Optical runaway. Resetting manually.

MKIII COMMENT: Wed Sep 27 16:58:31 GMT 1995
Phase check OK. Beginning I drop vigil with micro channels
swapped.

MKIII COMMENT: Wed Sep 27 18:03:55 GMT 1995
End of I-drop test for today. Removing H01126 after writing
a second eof. 20 files on this tape. Turning micro off,
swapping input connectors back, resetting nominal phasing--
Chan A=B and Chan B=5, loading new tape, H01127, and restarting
normal coronal observations.

MKIII COMMENT: Wed Sep 27 18:20:06 GMT 1995
Something is very wierd with the coronal scans. Checking things
out.

MKIII COMMENT: Wed Sep 27 18:24:09 GMT 1995
Operator headspace. I phased the micro backward... I set A=5 and
B=B, should have been A=B and B=5 like I logged. Corrected
phasing.

Wed Sep 27 19:02:00 GMT 1995: Calibration

WEATHER COMMENT: Wed Sep 27 19:30:04 GMT 1995
Passing thru some thin cirrus. MKIII scan all of a sudden got
quite polarized.

COMMENT: Wed Sep 27 20:05:28 GMT 1995
Spar pointing repositioned itself. Repointed and reset the guider.

WEATHER COMMENT: Wed Sep 27 20:10:35 GMT 1995
Still in thin cirrus.

Wed Sep 27 21:02:01 GMT 1995: Calibration

WEATHER COMMENT: Wed Sep 27 21:06:17 GMT 1995
Cirrus thin enough that corona looks more normal. P+S is
a bit high yet, though.

WEATHER COMMENT: Wed Sep 27 21:15:00 GMT 1995
P+S back to normal amplitudes now.

COMMENT: Wed Sep 27 21:15:43 GMT 1995
Spar not quite clearing to of dome yet. Will have to reconfigure the
dome shutter.
