LOW-L COMMENT: Thu Apr 29 17:45:24 GMT 1999
The program was stopped so that some software could be changed involving
the CTS10 card and so a tape drive test could be made. Tape L00595 had
54 files on it, it was removed from Drive #0 and L00596 was left in
drive #1, then the software was changed to allow using the CTS10 board again
for setting the clock, and the program was restarted with data going to
drive#1, this is a test to see if there is any problem when the tape drive
change from #1 to #0 happens. There has been an occasional problem with
the program crashing when the tape drive change from #0 to #1 takes place,
so this is a test to see if the software causing the change is the culprit
rather than the drive #1 itself. The clock test of the past few days
involved removing any interaction with the CTS10 board to see if that
might have been causing crash problems, during the time necessary to
gather 54 files the DOS clock drifted about 1.5 seconds.

MKIV COMMENT: Thu Apr 29 18:28:55 GMT 1999
We have been losing MkIII and MkIV scans this morning. Not all of them
have been getting transferred, including portions of the calibration.
The code has been changed and another attempt at the calibration will
following.

fixed the transfer problem.

MKIII COMMENT: Thu Apr 29 19:08:17 GMT 1999
Did MkIII correct. Dark, Light, and Gain look good on display.
Trying a new calibrate.
The flakey pixels in the 120 range are still with us. Witing
for Eric to diagnose the problem.

Calibration failed again. This time with a permission denied for
cortab0. This is really weird. Will try again

**CHIP PROBLEM**: Thu Apr 29 21:03:23 GMT 1999
Filter temperature is low (29.995) and rising, it has been low for at least
an hour.
Thu Apr 29 21:04:30 GMT 1999	PICS End Patrol
COMMENT: Thu Apr 29 21:36:37 GMT 1999
Filter temperature is within the correct range now, it may be due to the
work being done on the other temperature sensors that is requiring turning
off the sensor board power in the control room.
MKIV COMMENT: Thu Apr 29 21:39:40 GMT 1999
Sky is so bright the MkIV is saturating. The pB signal is washed out
in the mid heights up to where sensitivity rolls off at the top.
MKIV COMMENT: Thu Apr 29 21:49:49 GMT 1999
Now just saturating at one height in MkIV. For MLSO observers this happens
at a scope level of 8cm with zero set to the bottom of the scope and a
gain of 0.2V.cm. This corresponds to 3cm in MkIII and a gain of .1/cm
