Tape L00595 had 54 files on it, it was removed from Drive #0 and L00596 was left in drive #1, then the software was changed to allow using the CTS10 board again for setting the clock, and the program was restarted with data going to drive#1, this is a test to see if there is any problem when the tape drive change from #1 to #0 happens. There has been an occasional problem with the program crashing when the tape drive change from #0 to #1 takes place, so this is a test to see if the software causing the change is the culprit rather than the drive #1 itself. The clock test of the past few days involved removing any interaction with the CTS10 board to see if that might have been causing crash problems, during the time necessary to gather 54 files the DOS clock drifted about 1.5 seconds. MKIV COMMENT: Thu Apr 29 21:39:40 GMT 1999 Sky is so bright the MkIV is saturating. The pB signal is washed out in the mid heights up to where sensitivity rolls off at the top. MKIV COMMENT: Thu Apr 29 21:49:49 GMT 1999 Now just saturating at one height in MkIV. For MLSO observers this happens at a scope level of 8cm with zero set to the bottom of the scope and a gain of 0.2V.cm.
