David Elmore found a loose ground wire and reconnected it. Also, a correct was done, and calibrations taken before and after. The dark at 18_19 is not too noisy at all in q and u, and the electronic noise is gone. Dark at 18_53 -- q,u still good, no noise. I dark in asmuthal scan at diode 50 is 690 - 710 typically +-5 in noise. Post correct, I dark scan at diode 50 is now 550 to 525, typically +-10! However, the tscp file produced post correct is much smoother. So the correct seems to have had a positive effect. Best coronal image pre correct is 17:30 Best coronal image post correct is 18:56 -- it has one bug. They both look "good". The 18_07 tscp was used to calibrate images prior to 18_22, the 18_41 tscp was used to calibrate images after 18_22. The following images were copied to nahenahe to help David determine the effect of the correct. rcp puu.hao.ucar.edu:/puu/dppro/Data/97d267/97d267.17_30.corona.gif . rcp puu.hao.ucar.edu:/puu/dppro/Data/97d267/97d267.18_19.dark.gif . rcp puu.hao.ucar.edu:/puu/dppro/Data/97d267/97d267.18_53.dark.gif . rcp puu.hao.ucar.edu:/puu/dppro/Data/97d267/97d267.18_56.corona.gif . rcp puu.hao.ucar.edu:/puu/dppro/Data/97d267/97d267.18_07.ch0.tscp.gif . rcp puu.hao.ucar.edu:/puu/dppro/Data/97d267/97d267.18_41.ch0.tscp.gif .
