WEATHER COMMENT: Fri Sep 16 20:24:19 GMT 1994 Clear, but noisy sky. MKIII COMMENT: Fri Sep 16 20:30:55 GMT 1994 Calibrating channel 1, no dark scan at end. MKIII COMMENT: Fri Sep 16 20:43:34 GMT 1994 Calibrating channel 0. Fri Sep 16 21:00:01 GMT 1994: Patrol End DPMON COMMENT: Fri Sep 16 21:11:13 GMT 1994 Setting up for Elmore's opal tests. Opal manually put in the beam. Occulter in DISC position. Filter at 656.3 Daystar out. Will test exposure length. DPMON COMMENT: Fri Sep 16 21:15:05 GMT 1994 Exposure length set at 200 ms (max on control panel). Taking a set of manual exposures and tape writes. DPMON COMMENT: Fri Sep 16 21:20:42 GMT 1994 OK, took about 5 exposures and writes, not real sure... Duc called while I was doing it and I may have lost count. Putting blocked filter position into beam to do dark exposures at 200 ms, single exposures (like I did for opal exposures), and writing each exposure to tape. WEATHER COMMENT: Fri Sep 16 21:35:11 GMT 1994 In orographic clouds. DPMON COMMENT: Fri Sep 16 21:35:24 GMT 1994 Restored configuration back to normal... removed opal from beam. We'll be going in and out of the clouds for a while.
