COMMENT: Thu May 11 17:48:32 GMT 1995 N and S limit microswitches in DEC recentering system OK. COMMENT: Fri May 12 00:31:37 GMT 1995 Did not resolve guider problem after a very frustrating day. In an attempt to remove the dec motor/tach to check it out, I removed the gearbox, which didn't need to be removed. This task was VERY DIFFICULT due to it's relative inaccessibility. Putting it back was 10X more difficult!! I lost count how many times I dropped the mount screws and hold-downs, and used about every tool available to try to get a grip on the screw and hold-down. Well.... the new tach/motor was just as unresponsive so next, I plan to regroup and attack the problem tomorrow. I reassembled the mechanisms I tore apart today. COMMENT: Fri May 12 00:40:11 GMT 1995 No coronal and DPMON observations. GREEN DOT today. LOWL: L00235 Fri May 12 00:41:07 GMT 1995: Filemark
