The instrument head was stowed, the tape drive #0 display shows the message "Display Not Commmunicating". Removed L00242 and installed L00244 in drive #1, cycled Rack Power to clear the tape drive and restart the program. Will save dPMon tape and recycle the MKIII tape. :03 GMT 1995: Patrol End COMMENT: Tue May 23 21:00:20 GMT 1995 The Troubleshooter from HELCO came up today at my request to check the voltage characteristics of our power. The power looked OK (but this isn't Saturday) but he found a bad ground cable connector on one of the poles along the road on the way up here. A loose ground cable flapping near live cables in the wind might have caused us some problems. I kind of doubt that this was causing the crashes but it was definitely a problem. This is related to the rash of Low-l crashes and our trying to find the cause of these crashes. COMMENT: Tue May 23 21:10:39 GMT 1995 Activity report: QP: 45; 65; 97; 257; 300; 334.
