COMMENT: Sat Jun 10 19:15:02 GMT 1995 Spar lost guiding, reset it. LOW-L COMMENT: Sat Jun 10 19:38:13 GMT 1995 L00255 was popped out of drive #0 and data was being written to drive#1 even though I just installed L00255 yesterday. Removed L00255 and installed L00257 in drive #0, had to cycle the power on drive #0 to get it to take the new tape. COMMENT: Sat Jun 10 19:55:39 GMT 1995 I keep getting messages that /var is full so I deleted the file called _log in /var/saf as David suggested last time we had this problem. That file was taking up over 4 MB out of 11 MB available. But df shows that /var is still 100 % full, strange, will shut down and logout and login again and see if that clears things up. MKIII COMMENT: Sat Jun 10 20:16:26 GMT 1995 While doing a cal the printer got jammed trying to print out the cal sheet. This caused the program to draw only a partial scan on the screen and since I need a good cal sheet I aborted that cal and started another. Sat Jun 10 21:02:00 GMT 1995: Calibration COMMENT: Sat Jun 10 21:27:16 GMT 1995 I was away from the observatory for about 20 minutes helping Mr. Ozone get his van started, his battery was low, too much listening to Rush Limbaugh, if he had a flat tire Rush's hot air might have been helpful. Sat Jun 10 22:01:55 GMT 1995: Calibration DPMON COMMENT: Sat Jun 10 22:31:02 GMT 1995 Getting blocked occasionally by the dome as spar passes zenith. Sat Jun 10 23:01:56 GMT 1995: Calibration Sun Jun 11 00:02:01 GMT 1995: Calibration Sun Jun 11 00:40:05 GMT 1995: Patrol End LOW-L COMMENT: Sun Jun 11 00:50:22 GMT 1995 Crashed at 2258. Voltage recorder shows that the voltage started increasing from about 116.8 v at 2120 to a high of about 118 v at 2330, note that the recorder time is about 1 hour and 20 minutes behind actual time around the time of the crash. Restarted the program one hour after the crash to allow establishment of a good voltage record before restarting and possibly affecting the voltage, the voltage came down only slightly and gradually after I restarted the program. The 486 PC which was connected to the same power strip as the lowl PC didn't crash. I have some ideas that I will run by Steve on Monday. Installed L00258 and removed L00257 (crash tape) from drive #1. COMMENT: Sun Jun 11 00:59:50 GMT 1995 Activity report: QP: 52; 75; 121; 130; 137; 237; 299. No coronal activity.
