Mauna Loa Solar Observatory Observer's Log ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- Tue Jul 25 16:52:38 GMT 1995 Year: 95 Doy: 206 Observer: koon console Jul 25 16:50 WEATHER COMMENT: Tue Jul 25 16:52:43 GMT 1995 Passing low clouds, wind=40+ mph from the SE, temp=40 F. Will wait for better weather before opening up and starting observations. WEATHER COMMENT: Tue Jul 25 21:51:51 GMT 1995 Weather never cleared up, no observations. MKIII COMMENT: Tue Jul 25 21:52:19 GMT 1995 Checked and reseated Preamp and Line Driver connections. Only checked that Preamps were firmly in place, if dropouts continue we can remove and replace these to reseat connections and the same with the thin gauge coax wire connections to them. Removed and replaced the Line Drivers that we use and their associated cables, connectors looked good. Found one loose spade connection to the Corcom filters (marked the corner of the filter box closest to the connection) the rest seemed OK and the wires seemed OK. LOW-L COMMENT: Tue Jul 25 21:57:32 GMT 1995 Sent out latest Lowl crash update and got a lot of feedback with suggestions and information from Boulder. I think we are close to identifying the problem it looks like it is related to the WWVH antennae/CTS10board. COMMENT: Tue Jul 25 21:59:41 GMT 1995 TAPES: ****** LOW-L: L00284 in drive #0.
