(phasing and corrector tables are not swapped). MKIII COMMENT: Thu Apr 20 18:42:51 GMT 1995 Streaking not apparent in micro channel 1 VMAP either. Problem may have gone away when power was cycled to mirco or analog, or when 11/44 was rebooted. If streaks do not reappear after inputs are swapped back after again turning off micro and analog (which halts 11/44), plan will be to wait for recurrence, then cycle analog power, after checking, reboot 11/44, then try cycling micro power as last test along this investigative string of thought. I suspect that this problem is very likely related to the I dropouts. I think there is an intermittent problem that is becoming apparent due to component aging or connection deterioation in possibly the correctors and how they are either stored or applied to the data, or possibly in the 11/44 memory. The latter may relate to scan-log dropout and the corruption of data that occasionally occurs when FLIP is performed, re-writing an image from one slot to another in the PEEK workspace.
