No observing until Spar can track sun after clouds clear. Sat May 18 16:41:58 GMT 1996 CHIP Startup--Initializing new tape LOW-L COMMENT: Sat May 18 19:18:34 GMT 1996 Since the sky is cloudy I did some work on the program. First of all, the maxfile value of 76 was reached around midday yesterday and since the tape from drive #1 was ejected it appears the routine worked OK. Got 3 files on drive #0 today before I stopped the program. I made the program changes to tapeout.c as requested by David, this should prevent problems keeping track of files on tape that we were seeing before (mainly on drive #0), and therefore we shouldn't lose any more data due to the tape reaching its end before the program ejects it. Restarted the program with L00393 in drive #0 and L00394 in drive #1. WEATHER COMMENT: Sat May 18 19:35:57 GMT 1996 Thick cirrostratus continues to make Spar guiding impossible.
