See yesterdays log for more details on what I've already tested. MKIII COMMENT: Tue Aug 20 17:35:03 GMT 1996 Well, the signal for channel 0 started out like yesterday afternoon (almost nonexistant) but just when I was ready to work on the boards I noticed the loaf of bread was back. I ran FRAMES with the tilt plate (15 TLT) and the opal in and there were the sine waves as they should be. So we know that at least on of the DCSB boards for channel 0 is flaky but I can't pinpoint it until it fails again, so I will start taking data and keep an eye on the signal throughout the day. While the signal looked good on channel 0 I checked the outputs of the power supply that was pulled down to almost +/- 0 volts yesterday when the signal was almost nonexistant, and the output voltages are +/- 15 volts as they should be. Also the DCSB LEDs for channel 0 aren't all lit up as they were when the channel 0 signal was bad (and when the power supplies were disconnected as a test).
