Maybe due to work Eric was doing yesterday, the same tape was in today as on Saturday so maybe the program needed to be reset or something. I removed L00437 frome drive#0 and moved L00438 from drive #1 to drive #0, loaded L00439 in drive #1. Restarted program and it pointed correctly and is know taking data correctly. CHIP COMMENT: Tue Jan 28 22:24:26 GMT 1997 Filter temperature has been above normal for about 30 minutes. It is at 37.45 now. It has climbed and dropped several times but has not returned to the correct range in the time mentioned. So it probably had a power glitch to the temperature controller and now will take about 6 hours or so to stabilize in range, because of the huge time constant in the controller. I talked to David about it and he thinks it will be OK after stabilizing. This has happened twice before, that I've noticed.
