COMMENT: Thu Oct 16 17:09:15 GMT 1997 Our 935-0533 line is finally back to normal, and once again it has Touch Tone service even though the Phone Company says we aren't paying for it, I think I'll let this mistake slide. COMMENT: Thu Oct 16 17:46:50 GMT 1997 Wow! That new modem is great! It connected at 19.2 kbaud and was much faster than the network connection ever was. I think we need to figure out how to keep the FAX machine and the modem both hooked up to the phone line. LOW-L COMMENT: Thu Oct 16 17:59:13 GMT 1997 L00477 popped out of drive #1 as it should have, removed it, cleaned the drive, and installed L00479. MKIII COMMENT: Thu Oct 16 20:41:48 GMT 1997 So far the tape drive appears to be writing OK with the exception of occasional "Tape write error 0" messages in the Akamai window. I mentioned those messages to David and he said it means that occasionally the tape drive isn't writing data. But regardless of those messages the data are mostly going to tape. PICS COMMENT: Thu Oct 16 20:50:22 GMT 1997 Getting doubled disk images again now that the centering routine is back. After doing End Day the tape didn't get popped out of the drive like it was doing on the spare tape drive.
