PICS COMMENT: Thu Jan 8 17:36:57 GMT 1998 I rebooted Nene yesterday afternoon before I left, David suggested this if someone ran "dv" because that might have caused the intensity changes they are seeing. I didn't use "dv" when I was doing my troubleshooting, but maybe rebooting will help anyway. I remember that rebooting helped with displayed images in the past if the camera controller power was cycled. This is being done to test for light leaks that may be causing the bad dark scans. It moves very smoothely without any signs of a problem. Maybe the voltage or current getting to the motor is bad sometimes when the computer drives it. Donna's images show the light leak to be positioned around the North on the images which doesn't match where I had expected to see excess light appear if the shutter stopped short of fully closed. Will have to think about it more. COMMENT: Thu Jan 8 22:54:30 GMT 1998 TAPES: ****** CHIP: C00468 PICS: P01080 LOWL: L00491 in drive #0 Thu Jan 8 22:57:15 GMT 1998 MkIII
