Sun Feb 20 18:00:30 GMT 2000 PICS Flat Sun Feb 20 18:03:00 GMT 2000 PICS End Flat **CHIP PROBLEM**: Sun Feb 20 19:10:57 GMT 2000 Program stalled with Program: 1082.847 (like always), fixed with Cancel Wait command (like always). I'd guess the software is sending a string of commands to the tape drive that is conflicting somehow, then maybe the program is waiting for a signal from the drive that either came at the wrong time for the program to notice it or will never come. It always happens at the same place in the program cycle and the program stalls waiting for the tape drive in some fashion, I'm not sure if it is waiting for a signal or just waiting for a certain amount of time but there is another thing that happens at this point in the program cycle. Usually the "Crunch" field of the Status window shows: Crunch: Idle but at the end of the part of the program cycle that shows: Program: 1082.847 (where the stall occurs) the "Crunch" field shows Crunch:0 or Crunch:1 So maybe this "Crunch" operation is affecting the program in a way previously mentioned and causing the stall.
