Data were going to L00681 at last observing day. The drive #1 that held L00682 was blinking its amber LED, I cycled power to that drive to clear the error and loaded L00684 there. Data going to L00683 in drive #0. Since the program was still running I didn't restart it, just loaded the tapes. MKIV COMMENT: Wed Mar 29 19:17:37 GMT 2000 Pausing due to clouds. **LOW-L PROBLEM**: Wed Mar 29 19:28:51 GMT 2000 L00683 popped out early from drive #0, already. Replaced it with L00685. Tried Run to restart and home everything, stalled, tried Run second time, it started but wouldn't point the telescope. I tried to turn off the limit switches and move the telescope via PC command like we do with the very similar focus stage problem, didn't work, couldn't turn off limit switches until I pushed the telescope away from West position. Run worked on second try (as usual) and observations continued. **PSPT PROBLEM**: Wed Mar 29 20:50:16 GMT 2000 Didn't point to sun correctly, did a "gdr ephmcal" sequence. There is a light cirrostratus overcast that may be contributing to the problems. **PSPT PROBLEM**: Wed Mar 29 22:00:19 GMT 2000 Did ephmcal again because of pointing problems, still got dark images. Stopped, maybe the clouds are the cause of the problems.
