Brought up an xterm window, killed runPspt.pro, brought up control window after it disappeared, did a Shutdown, then exited completely, then started up likw usual. Didn't work, got stalled "Taking 3 Dark Frames...", tried Shutdown then Abort, neither stopped it, the timeout counter just kept updating. This time I used the xterm window to kill runPspt.pro again then did Pspt in normal starting window, then did Startup like usual, so far the program seems to be working OK. WEATHER COMMENT: Wed May 17 19:50:12 GMT 2000 A few small orographic clouds are starting to pass over. Was cloudy, just tried to Shutdown after killing runPspt.pro and bringing up control window. The new Shutdown task appears to be stalling right after checking disk space, Randy just modified it, I'll call him. WEATHER COMMENT: Wed May 17 21:17:58 GMT 2000 Clouds very thick, closing down. **PSPT PROBLEM**: Wed May 17 21:18:13 GMT 2000 While talking to Randy he mentioned that Haosheng had problems with the program stalling that sounded similar to mine, he thought maybe the command ms restart could be used to clear a camera problem that might be stalling things. So we could try killing runPspt.pro then do the "ms restart" command in a psp> prompt window, then try a restart of everything. Another thing I found was that the PC was stalled with the last 2 lines showing: xys goto center positiom= (gibberish numbers) and the cursor was flying back and forth on that last line. I pressed the Enter button and the program continued shutting down like normal, so the new Shutdown changes are apparently no problem.
