The dec drive was making noise and the telescope was stalled in dec, tightening the dec drive clutch fixed both problems. I found a problem with the Quadcell Y-direction drive system, the PC screen shows positional changes but the motor isn't turning, still troubleshooting. **PSPT PROBLEM**: Sat Jun 10 19:17:29 GMT 2000 The quadcell Y-direction stepper driver board is bad, it needs to be replaced before we can continue observing, I can't find a spare up here and I don't think we have any spares for anything except the shutter, so we need a board sent to us. I tried several experiments involving swapping the X-direction board with the Y-direction board, from these I know the Y-direction motor and limit switches work with the X-direction stepper driver board, and the X direction system has the same problem as the Y-direction system when using the Y-direction stepper driver board. Unfortunately the PSPT is still down until we receive a new Quadcell Stage Y-direction Stepper Driver Board for the electronics rack. COMMENT: Sat Jun 10 19:59:54 GMT 2000 Extended the dome slot.
