It was a good opportunity to check things out. Looked at meters in drive mode, the needles were moving around, but not very rapidly. Movement was in very small oscillations. I could feel vibrations on the optics chassis so I looked into the compartment and I could definitely feel the active mirror vibrating rapidly. I suspect there might be some sort of oscillation in the drive signal, cause unknown at this point. We thought it might be related to the solar image size, but the oscillations have been occurring through summer and winter where the solar size sould have gone through its minimum and maximum size.
