Back MKIV COMMENT: Mon Apr 30 18:28:00 GMT 2001 Dark noise test. 18_21 South to West P408 and P409 out West to North P408 in North to East P409 in East to South P408 and P409 in. 18_24 Pixel clock jumpers P405 swapped P408 and P409 same azimuths MKIV COMMENT: Mon Apr 30 19:47:58 GMT 2001 We modified the ancient air scrubbers on the mk4. We removed the hoses from the occulter area to the filter box. We removed the aperture that was the diameter of the fan hub, probably reducing airflow. Old version was pulling air from the O1 area out thru the hoses and filter. We reversed the fan direction to provide a positive filtered air flow to the O1 housing to blow air out aroune the O1, reducing the opportunity for ambient dust to fall onto the front surface of the O1. MKIV COMMENT: Mon Apr 30 20:01:00 GMT 2001 Strapping on the Mk4 transformation board was changed to remove noise seen on the analog pixel display. P408 and P409 were removed. These jumpers tied grounds together and aparently caused ground loops. Also the gain of Q/U will be closer to the levels seen before swapping to the new Dalsa camera. Software gain has been adjusted. WEATHER COMMENT: Mon Apr 30 21:52:17 GMT 2001 Still in heavy clouds. Shutdown for the day. Kim and Eric leaving site, David staying over. Mon Apr 30 21:53:06 GMT 2001 MkIV 18_21.rawmk4 18_24.rawmk4
