Tests with video of its operation correlated to images taken and looking back thru the data revealed that the streamer motion began occurring when the O1 guider was turned back on after Judd's efforts to address some of its problems--not to say that the current problem is a result of Judd's work, it may have always existed. The problem goes away when we turned the O1 guider off. Curiously, the daily drift thought to be caused by spar flexure, etc, was greater with the o1 guider on than off. After turning O1 guider off, I went upstairs and manually moved the cams to its center of travel. N/S cams were stopped close to one limit, but not on it, and the E/W cams were very near the center of travel. Darryl recentered the N/S cams on DOY 02194. Used longest exposure on gui available to maximize look and blow time (not very much time!). Particle did not move on the display image. Tried blowing the front and back surfaces of all of the optical elements I could reach and was not successful in moving the particle. Need to think more drastic measures through before trying them.
