Wed Nov 6 18:09:28 GMT 2002 MKIV Start Patrol MKIV COMMENT: Wed Nov 6 18:11:05 GMT 2002 After resetting the KCC (and the 2540 board before that) the VCP displayed 120 for Tilt IN and Tilt Out, at the same time. This was cleared by selecting stop for Tilt Out. Then I started Patrol and had to select stop for Tilt Out again, it was displayed as 240 before that stop. Why does 120 display for both Tilt In and Tilt Out upon KCC reset? **GONG PROBLEM**: Wed Nov 6 18:52:39 GMT 2002 No data being taken and the GUI showed a waveplate sync error. Went to shelter and cycled the power to the Data and Instrument chassis, then rebooted the Sparcstation too. PSPT COMMENT: Wed Nov 6 20:16:03 GMT 2002 Changed the AzsparErr_deg to -0.72 from 0.72 at Alice's request this morning. Had a few problems since then, needed to do a "slave on command" from PC, and the telescope didn't point right despite an earlier "gdr ephmcal", it was off a little in Dec, I pointed it manually by hand, may need to do another "gdr ephmcal" tomorrow. May need to always do the "slave on" command on the PC after changing the AzsparErr_deg value and doing a "gdr ephmcal".
