I went upstairs and cycled power to the spar power strip while the CCW scan was still running but in the "non-data" sector (white on realtime scan), I came back down to find the scan was still bad and continued until it stalled at the end of the CCW scan. Then I went back upstairs again and cycled the spar power strip power, after that the CW scan started by itself and the scans looked normal. I've noted before that cycling this power strip power has fixed the "Bad scans" problem. I didn't have to cycle the main KCC power or reset the KCC cpu board. Somehow cycling that spar power strip power undoes some confused state that the mk4 gets into with these partial sector scans. Mon Apr 7 02:03:01 GMT 2003 MKIV Start Patrol MKIV COMMENT: Mon Apr 7 02:03:13 GMT 2003 David changed the mk4 code, it is still cloudy but I started Patrol to see if it runs OK. So far so good. Mon Apr 7 02:15:13 GMT 2003 MKIV End Patrol MKIV COMMENT: Mon Apr 7 02:18:45 GMT 2003 Still saw the old "fix offset" messages which were removed in David's new version of the code, so new code apparently wasn't loaded. So I cycled the main KCC power to load the new code, will try a couple of scans again. Mon Apr 7 02:20:27 GMT 2003 MKIV Start Patrol MKIV COMMENT: Mon Apr 7 02:23:29 GMT 2003 At end of scan the messages: t_scan 982 records, last barrel 8392 were displayed, and the "fix offset" messages are gone. So it looks like the new parts of the code mentioned by David work correctly. Mon Apr 7 02:26:55 GMT 2003 MKIV End Patrol MKIV COMMENT: Mon Apr 7 02:26:36 GMT 2003 At end of CW scan the messages are: t_scan 983 records, last barrel 57161. The previous log entry gave messages for the end of a CCW scan.
