WEATHER COMMENT: Fri Feb 14 21:10:53 GMT 2003 Raining very hard now. MKIV COMMENT: Fri Feb 14 23:24:13 GMT 2003 Installed new heating blanket around Dalsa camera. It was not as easy as it was thought. There may need to be some alignment of the camera, although it was not moved significantly--just wiggled a bit. There was a coax connector holder that needed to be removed and then reinstalled with longer screws to allow the heater to slide all the way up the camera. Installing the heater bracket in the position shown on the documentation was not possible, clamp and screws stuck out too far. Things are tight inside the trough. I could not close the cover with the heater positioned that way so I had to remove everything and remount the heater backward. That caused the clamp screws to be in a very awkward place--resolved by using sheet metal screws to avoid having to stick washers and nuts onto inaccessible screws. The heater tab that sticks out minimally interferes with the rear hold-down assembly and again, the covers. Had to aluminum tape the cover edges to seal the trough. The usual dropped tools and hardware added to the colorful language of the day. Turned heater on after reassembly. WEATHER COMMENT: Fri Feb 14 23:46:53 GMT 2003 Heavy rain has subsided. Still drizzling and totally socked in. Shutting down for the day. **MKIV PROBLEM**: Fri Feb 14 23:48:18 GMT 2003 Jusst noticed a message on nahenahe console: NOTICE: alloc: /opt: file system full **PICS PROBLEM**: Fri Feb 14 23:51:03 GMT 2003 PICS crashed on exit from windows desktop.
