I tried Shutdown again and this made PSPT lose its mind, the telescope started pointing in the wrong direction and so did the dome, way over to the West. I repointed the telescope manually and stopped the dome before it could go too far and hurt the track, but this is a potentially dangerous situation, I marked the control box to make it easier for someone to quickly stop the dome if it runs away. I had a lot of trouble trying to get the dome Homed, it thought it was Homed but wouldn't point back to Home to get reset no matter what I tried until I cycled the PC and rack and Dome power - that kept the dome from running away while the computer control cable was plugged in. Then I restarted Pspt and did a Startup and then a Shutdown to correctly stop it in the right places for today. ___end___ NICE CHIP IMAGE: 2047 NICE PICSDISC IMAGE: 2051 Wed Jan 25 02:06:43 GMT 2006 MkIV
