Joan requested the image of the sun be more centered on the CCD. I taped down the alignment to help keep it from moving. Note that alignment adjustments are very difficult because there isn't any kind of mechanical advantage, I rotate the entire telescope mount in Az or El to try to center the image, if I move it just one degree then the sun moves 2 solar diameters, very difficult to do fine adjustments. I used the Remote Desktop Connection feature of Windows to take over the H-alpha computer's desktop then set the cadence from 90000 to 1000 ms and set both exposures to 200us and made a temporary data folder to collect the data during alignment, it would be better if we could turn off the data gathering during alignments. Some data got through during alignment as I figured this out, so some data are bad. I think everything is back to normal now. ___end___ NOTE BY DARRYL: Tue Apr 13 20:23:54 GMT 2010 Giving a tour to friends of John Barnes. ___end___ WEATHER COMMENT: Tue Apr 13 20:25:48 GMT 2010 Thin cirrostratus has moved in. ___end___ MKIV COMMENT BY DARRYL: Tue Apr 13 20:26:31 GMT 2010 Pausing due to clouds. ___end___ Tue Apr 13 20:28:20 GMT 2010 MKIV End Patrol WEATHER COMMENT: Tue Apr 13 21:33:10 GMT 2010 Low clouds are starting to build up. ___end___ NOTE BY DARRYL: Tue Apr 13 21:38:35 GMT 2010 Done with tour for visitors. ___end___ Tue Apr 13 22:02:50 GMT 2010 CHIP End Patrol WEATHER COMMENT: Tue Apr 13 22:07:02 GMT 2010 Clouds are thick, fog is nearby, pausing rest of instruments and closing domes. ___end___ Tue Apr 13 23:00:55 GMT 2010 MkIV 17_25.rawmk4 18_01.rawmk4 19_02.rawmk4 19_38.rawmk4 20_13.rawmk4 17_28.rawmk4 18_04.rawmk4 19_05.rawmk4 19_41.rawmk4 20_16.rawmk4 17_31.rawmk4 18_10.rawmk4 19_08.rawmk4 19_43.rawmk4 20_19.rawmk4 17_34.rawmk4 18_16.rawmk4 19_11.rawmk4 19_46.rawmk4 20_22.rawmk4 17_37.rawmk4 18_22.rawmk4 19_14.rawmk4 19_49.rawmk4 20_25.rawmk4 17_40.rawmk4 18_42.rawmk4 19_17.rawmk4 19_52.rawmk4 c18_07.rawmk4 17_43.rawmk4 18_45.rawmk4 19_20.rawmk4 19_55.rawmk4 c18_13.rawmk4 17_46.rawmk4 18_48.rawmk4 19_23.rawmk4 19_58.rawmk4 c18_19.rawmk4 17_49.rawmk4 18_50.rawmk4 19_26.rawmk4 20_01.rawmk4 17_52.rawmk4 18_53.rawmk4 19_29.rawmk4 20_04.rawmk4 17_55.rawmk4 18_56.rawmk4 19_32.rawmk4 20_07.rawmk4 17_58.rawmk4 18_59.rawmk4 19_35.rawmk4 20_10.rawmk4
