Most things look good. PSPT had about 25 minutes left on its separate UPS. CoMP went down completely for some reason, we'll have to watch its UPS during a power outage to make sure it is working and to see how many minutes of backup it gives. The automatic main didn't turn back on the power but that might have been a coincidence where I turned it back on before it did so automatically, we should watch that during power outages to see that it switches back on properly. ___end___ NOTE BY DARRYL: Wed May 18 21:49:20 GMT 2011 It turned out that the power went out only at MLSO because the heater in the dome was bumped and that shorted an exposed component which tripped breakers B1 and B3, and apparently that caused a big enough surge to trip the auto- matic main which is towards the utility poles from B1 and B3. We disconnected the heater for good since it never gets used up in the dome, and capped the ends of the wires, that won't be a problem again. I had always thought that heater wiring was disconnected a long time ago, now it is for sure. ___end___ ****EVENT COMMENT BY DARRYL****: Wed May 18 23:00:41 GMT 2011 Lots of nice looking action at PA=280 throughout today. ___end___ WEATHER COMMENT: Wed May 18 23:01:16 GMT 2011 Still have thin cirrostratus with some low clouds as well. ___end___ Wed May 18 23:02:41 GMT 2011 CHIP LSD Wed May 18 23:04:12 GMT 2011 CHIP End LSD Wed May 18 23:04:18 GMT 2011 CHIP BiasLSD Wed May 18 23:04:54 GMT 2011 CHIP End BiasLSD Wed May 18 23:05:02 GMT 2011 CHIP Bias Wed May 18 23:05:33 GMT 2011 CHIP End Bias Wed May 18 23:05:38 GMT 2011 CHIP ReStart Patrol **GONG PROBLEM COMMENT BY DARRYL**: Thu May 19 01:45:33 GMT 2011 The gong x terminal at MLSO stalled with the blue screen with the F in the middle I couldn't get it to show the images by moving and turning off/on the mouse or by keyboard. Restarted again, I had restarted this successfully after the power outage earlier, it's good practice. ___end___ Thu May 19 01:57:35 GMT 2011 CHIP End Patrol Thu May 19 01:57:49 GMT 2011: PSPT Abort Patrol Thu May 19 02:01:56 GMT 2011 H-ALPHA End Patrol Thu May 19 02:19:49 GMT 2011 MkIV
