Crashed, restarted.  The "ftr home" command was running on the PC and
not stopping, and I could hear a tone coming from the instrument, after
doing a "KillPspt" I pressed the Enter button on the PC to stop the "ftr
home" command and then I ran "Daily Obs" to continue, so far it seems to
be doing well.
