Forgot a log entry for mk4 problems yesterday - Camera analog output looks like
there is little/no light on the camera and images derived from the digital 
output agree. Opal, tilt plate, dark shutter seem to be operating. No change in 
analog output at any time during a calibration cycle. A flashlight shined on the
transfer lens in the camera compartment gives but analog and digital outputs. 
At this point it seems like the electronics outside the camera is OK, the problem could be in the optical path or something internal to the camera resulting in
much lower gain.

Not much new info on the problem for today, spent most time looking through 
manuals/diagrams. Visually confirmed operation of opal, dark shutter, tilt plate
 - they seem fine, though the tilt plate is more difficult to see in position.
