Initall investigation turned up no smoking guns, attempting a reboot of the SUN workstation. ___end___ Wed Sep 04 22:29:28 GMT 2013 COMP Start Patrol CoMP COMMENT BY berkey: Wed Sep 4 22:31:57 GMT 2013 CoMP back end was realigned today to take out some of the issues seen in last weeks data. We believe the detector/camera moved w.r.t the optics box at some point during the Mk4 decommisioning and Kcor commissioning. The camera was found to be rotated about 5-10 degrees to normal with the box. We loosened the retaining bolts and rotated the camera to be normal. This along with a field lens move brought the images to a much nicer place on the detector. At this point we believe all/most of the mis-alignment has been corrected. We are now taking a data set for further review with the software pipeline. ___end___ CoMP COMMENT BY berkey: Wed Sep 4 22:41:06 GMT 2013 Sky conditions aren't very good right now. ___end___ Wed Sep 04 23:14:04 GMT 2013 COMP End Patrol Thu Sep 5 02:36:25 GMT 2013: PSPT Abort Patrol Thu Sep 5 02:36:33 GMT 2013: PSPT Abort Patrol KCOR COMMENT BY berkey: Thu Sep 5 03:59:55 GMT 2013 K-cor now "fully" installed on the spar. The only mechanical things remain are to install hepa ducting and fix cable routing. Some changes to k-cor software today, lots of minor bug fixes and a couple of changes to how the GUI's look. Dennis was able to focus both cameras, but tomorrow will do a little bit of a check on the T camera, it has a very minor optical issue. Spar is well balanced We fixed the afternoon ossilation of the SGS RA, Alred added larger springs to the mechanism to prevent the slipping we were seeing. Apparently the larger motor that was shipped out was to heavy for the springs and the problem manafested itself in the afternoon ___end___
