In the old mode pushing the science button on or off did 3 things toggled the LED, made a day log entry and toggled the state of the data type. But there was no iteraction with the calibration script. So the proper course of action for the user was to toggle science off before starting a calibration and toggle it on after calibration. If the system was in science mode and the observer hit calibrate; the datatype would changed but we wouldnt get the end patrol in the log and the science data led would remian lit. When the calibration was done the data type would be engineering but the science data light would be on. In the new logic the events generated by clicking the scinece button stayed the same; but there is more logic in the calibrate state. We now check the state of the science button, if it is ON we turn the light off and trigger a End patorl in the log; the change in data type is already handled by the calibrate state. Now comp files can be found in c:\documents and settings\iguser\my documents\comp-m\trunk\software Related to this we are no running a newer version of the "CoMP Read Rockwell Temperature and Shutdown if nessary.vi" It should now have the following behavior. If camera is cold and pullizi switch 3 is on. Do nothing (all is good) If camera is cold and pullizi switch 3 is off. Turn the background blue to get user attention If camera is warm and pullizi switch 3 is on. Turn off switch 3 and make the background red. If camera is warm and pullizi switcd 3 is off. Make background red. In this mode we should be able to watch the cameras warming/cooling behavior even after it passes the -170 warm thresshold. ___end___
