Corona looks fuzzy today and slightly washed out. Both O1 and cameras were focused this morning. But I see that the O1 is at 132mm were I expect it to be more like 136. Re-doing O1 focus. ___end___ Mon Jun 08 17:45:18 GMT 2015 KCOR Start Synoptic Patrol KCOR COMMENT BY berkey: Mon Jun 08 17:48:57 GMT 2015 Re-running focus. Ben and I ended up doing a gdr ephm calibration. So far it seems to be doing much better now. We'll see what happens. ___end___ KCOR COMMENT BY berkey: Mon Jun 08 17:57:45 GMT 2015 The quick look images seem to show more detail after refocuing. Dennis was thinking we were getting some bi-birefringence due to stress on the optic by squeezing the o-ring to tight. While the assembly was out of the telescope, dust was blown off the lens. ___end___ Mon Jun 08 21:00:24 GMT 2015 COMP Start Patrol Mon Jun 08 21:05:18 GMT 2015 KCOR Start Synoptic Patrol GENERAL OBSERVATORY COMMENT BY waters: Mon Jun 8 22:45:31 GMT 2015 While Ben had the field lens/occulter assembly removed, I vacuumed the inside area of where it sits. When we restarted it, the cluthc had slipped and couldn't find the Sun. Then once we had it back in park and tried to restart, it couldn't move past a certain point due to some cabling restraining it and pulling on the other cable. Rearranged cables and set it on the Sun. Tired to do a daily Ops but it got hung up on centering again. Currently trouble shooting. ___end___ Tue Jun 09 02:21:19 GMT 2015 COMP End Patrol Tue Jun 09 02:21:28 GMT 2015 KCOR End Patrol
