Found I was getting a lot of RS232 Xedar errors while the camera power supply box under the PSPT platform was in a weird condition. Power cycling the power supply box fixed the RS232 errors. Still cannot read out the camera. Trying to do a full system startup/initialization. Looks like only can we not read out the camera, but the focus isn't working. Tried reverting to all of the original PSPT cables (accept the RA/camera trigger cable which was installed on Sunday. With old cables homing focus still appears to fail Rebooted everthing. During the exercise shutter 20 times command I didnt see the Uniblitz blink but I may have looked to late. The focus home command appears to having a problem again, I dont think anything is working :( Canceled focus, trying dome home. Dome seems to work Guider, mirror and cap all seem to work. Right now we may be having shutter, camera and focus issues. The Still not seeing uniblitz triggering. ___end___ CoMP COMMENT BY berkey: Wed Sep 09 19:41:57 GMT 2015 CoMP guiding might be getting out of range. It would be interesting to see if the data passed gates earlier today but started failing around 19:30ish UT. ___end___ PSPT COMMENT BY berkey: Wed Sep 09 20:11:37 GMT 2015 Trying spare uniblitz. I still didnt see the shutter light blink on the new controller. ___end___ GENERAL COMMENT BY berkey: Wed Sep 09 20:12:20 GMT 2015 Stopping observing in the main dome. I will double check on Firday when we do the occulter swaps. ___end___ GENERAL COMMENT BY berkey: Wed Sep 09 22:04:33 GMT 2015 Looks like we are starting to get into some thin cirrus. ___end___ Wed Sep 09 22:45:45 GMT 2015 KCOR End Patrol Wed Sep 09 22:53:41 GMT 2015 CoMP Paused for clouds Wed Sep 09 23:36:55 GMT 2015 KCOR Start Synoptic Patrol Wed Sep 09 23:36:56 GMT 2015 CoMP Restarted from pause Wed Sep 09 23:44:15 GMT 2015 KCOR End Patrol Wed Sep 09 23:44:13 GMT 2015 CoMP Paused for clouds Wed Sep 09 23:46:21 GMT 2015 CoMP Restarted from pause Wed Sep 09 23:46:29 GMT 2015 KCOR Start Synoptic Patrol Wed Sep 09 23:47:58 GMT 2015 KCOR End Patrol Wed Sep 09 23:58:44 GMT 2015 COMP End Patrol Thu Sep 10 00:00:21 GMT 2015 COMP Start Patrol on cookbook: comp.cbk GENERAL COMMENT BY berkey: Thu Sep 10 00:00:28 GMT 2015 Re-aligning sgs and comp occulter ___end___ Thu Sep 10 00:14:21 GMT 2015 CoMP Paused for clouds Thu Sep 10 00:17:06 GMT 2015 CoMP Restarted from pause Thu Sep 10 00:20:47 GMT 2015 KCOR Start Synoptic Patrol Thu Sep 10 00:45:48 GMT 2015 KCOR End Patrol Thu Sep 10 00:46:00 GMT 2015 Kcor sees an SGS Guiding Error closing lens cover Thu Sep 10 00:46:01 GMT 2015 KCOR End Patrol Thu Sep 10 00:46:01 GMT 2015 CoMP Paused for clouds Thu Sep 10 00:51:03 GMT 2015 CoMP Restarted from pause Thu Sep 10 00:51:53 GMT 2015 KCOR Start Synoptic Patrol Thu Sep 10 00:54:39 GMT 2015 KCOR End Patrol Thu Sep 10 00:54:43 GMT 2015 CoMP Paused for clouds Thu Sep 10 00:58:32 GMT 2015 CoMP Restarted from pause Thu Sep 10 00:58:41 GMT 2015 KCOR Start Synoptic Patrol Thu Sep 10 01:02:48 GMT 2015 KCOR End Patrol Thu Sep 10 01:12:11 GMT 2015 CoMP Paused for clouds Thu Sep 10 01:20:46 GMT 2015 CoMP Restarted from pause Thu Sep 10 01:31:31 GMT 2015 KCOR Start Synoptic Patrol Thu Sep 10 01:33:57 GMT 2015 KCOR End Patrol Thu Sep 10 01:34:32 GMT 2015 CoMP Paused for clouds Thu Sep 10 01:37:34 GMT 2015 CoMP Restarted from pause Thu Sep 10 01:38:27 GMT 2015 KCOR Start Synoptic Patrol Thu Sep 10 01:41:34 GMT 2015 KCOR End Patrol Thu Sep 10 01:50:42 GMT 2015 KCOR Start Synoptic Patrol PSPT COMMENT BY berkey: Thu Sep 10 02:14:25 GMT 2015 More PSPT troubleshooting swapped back in the new P51/61, P52/62 and P53/63 cables. I also disabled taking darks during startup. During the exersize shutter 20 times startup step the shutter light on the uniblitz came on and stay on and remains on minutes later. Historically the light only came on when the shutter moved out of the beam for an image. During the home fcs step the stage again drove negative and never stopped. (No audio/visual indication that anything actually moved by the screen feed kept incrementing). At the final step of the startup during taking clear blue the dos machine kept trying to take more and more images. Historically this only would have happend once. Then eventually idl crashed at PSPT_SHOW_IMAGE 51 Tried running Daily Obs for more info. on the clr Blue stop the filterwheel seems to drive on forever. Nope filter wheel eventually returned. IDL crashed in the same way PSPT_SHOW_IMAGE 51 Reverting back to the old uniblitz ___end___ Thu Sep 10 02:37:10 GMT 2015 KCOR End Patrol Thu Sep 10 02:37:38 GMT 2015 COMP End Patrol
