This weeks shipment should be enough to carry us though to mid-November with the instrument down. If the reworked CoMP parts will not be available Until after Thanksgiving we should cancel the November 11 delivery as well. Airgas recommends we call them back a week before the planned November 11th delivery to confirm we want to restart and make sure we are back on their scheduled. ___end___ CoMP COMMENT BY berkey: Sat Oct 03 01:17:44 GMT 2015 This morning I tried to epoxy some O1 enclosure "alignment pucks" onto the spar. To allow the enclosure to reinstall to its current position when it returns from engineering work in Boulder in November. However at this time about 6 hours later the witness epoxy (left over in the container) is still tacky so it either is going to take a very long time to set (maybe it is to cold at 50F) or we will have to try again next week with a different batch. This batch of epoxy was purchased in 2010, so I may have degraded. While the epoxy cures the pucks are held on with kapton tape. ___end___
