Temp: 41.6f, Humidity: 77%, Pressure: 28.71in, Wind: 8mph from sw, Skies: clear.  Inversion layer is capping moisture below about 8,000ft.  Roads/surfaces are icy so it must have been cloudy up here last night.

Looks like things were a little hazy when we started kcor observations this morning.  Gif movie shows starts with a washed out image, but as conditions improve the actually coronal signal appears to explode out pushing the washed out haze/halo with. 

At least one kcor artifact on the West limb of the sun about 1/3 solar radii out.  Likely some debris on the field lens.  The lens was blown off Monday during the alignment check but we must have missed the offending particle(s)

Inspected O1 and field lens.  Found some particles but nothing soild that seems like it could have caused the West limb artifact.  I am also not sure I see it in the reflected (uncombined) gif image perhaps this is a particle on the camera sensor.

To test some flexure we are seeing between the cameras and the occulter during motion across the ra/dec range we are trying a base-plate test.  

Diffuser in the beam along with the lamp.
Taking baseline fts data  the the spar locked in the vertical condition.  21:49:49->21:51:06
The bottom of the kcor optics box was pushed with 25 # of force on the west face 21:51:22->21:52:07
The bottom of the kcor optics box was pushed with 25 # of force on the north face 21:53:53->21:54:24
The bottom of the kcor optics box was pushed with 25 # of force on the east face 21:55:55->21:56:25
The bottom of the kcor optics box was pushed with 25 # of force on the south face 21:57:41->21:58:11
